By-elections: PML-N dominates unofficial results across NA, PA seats

LAHORE – By-elections were held on five National Assembly seats and seven Punjab Assembly seats in Punjab, and the flow of results is continuing.

Polling began at 8 a.m. in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha, Mianwali, and Muzaffargarh, and continued until 5 p.m.

The counting of votes is underway and results are being announced.

National Assembly Constituency Results

NA-129 Lahore

According to the unofficial and unconfirmed results from all 334 polling stations of NA-129 Lahore, PML-N’s Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman has won.

He secured 63,441 votes, while PTI-backed independent candidate Arslan Ahmed received 29,099 votes and finished second.

NA-143 Sahiwal-III

As per the unofficial results, PML-N’s Muhammad Tufail secured 136,223 votes and won the seat.

Independent candidate Zarrar Akbar Chaudhry came second with 13,220 votes.

NA-185 Dera Ghazi Khan-II

From all 226 polling stations, unofficial results show PML-N’s Mahmood Qadir Khan winning with 82,413 votes.

PPP’s Dost Muhammad Khosa stood second with 49,262 votes.

NA-96 Faisalabad-II

Unofficial results from 154 out of 345 polling stations indicate PML-N’s Muhammad Bilal Badar is leading with 79,278 votes.

Independent candidate Nawab Sher Waseer is second with 26,483 votes.

NA-18 Haripur

In the NA-18 Haripur by-election, unofficial results from all 308 polling stations show the PML-N candidate in the lead.

NA-104 Faisalabad-X

From 177 out of 375 polling stations, unofficial results show PML-N’s Daniyal Ahmed leading with 29,338 votes.

Independent candidate Rana Adnan Javed is second with 8,861 votes.

Punjab Assembly Constituency Results

PP-203 Sahiwal-VI

Unofficial results from all 185 polling stations show PML-N’s Muhammad Hanif winning with 46,900 votes.

Independent Falak Sher got 10,895 votes and came second.

PP-73 Sargodha

From 108 out of 163 polling stations, PML-N’s Mian Sultan Ali Ranjha is leading with 35,132 votes.

Independent Muhammad Haris is second with 5,596 votes.

PP-87 Mianwali-III

From 125 out of 193 polling stations, PML-N’s Ali Haider Noor Khan Niazi is leading with 56,170 votes.

Independent Muhammad Ayaz Khan Niazi is second with 3,310 votes.

PP-98 Faisalabad-I

From 80 out of 171 polling stations, PML-N’s Azad Ali Tabassum is leading with 32,491 votes.

Independent Muhammad Ajmal is second with 21,485 votes.

PP-115 Faisalabad-XVIII

From 147 out of 159 polling stations, PML-N’s Muhammad Tahir Pervaiz is leading with 35,620 votes.

Independent Muhammad Asghar is second with 1,713 votes.

PP-116 Faisalabad-XIX

From 175 out of 190 polling stations, PML-N’s Ahmad Shehryar is leading with 45,674 votes.

Independent Malik Asghar Ali Qaisar is second with 10,294 votes.

PP-269 Muzaffargarh-II

From 102 out of 156 polling stations, PPP’s Mian Alamdar Abbas Qureshi is leading with 42,091 votes.

Independent Muhammad Iqbal Khan Pitafi is second with 30,370 votes.
