Lahore Gymkhana successfully conducted its annual elections on February 15, 2025, electing 12 office-bearers out of 27 candidates, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
According to the channel report, the election was held in a peaceful and transparent manner, with polling agents and representatives actively overseeing the process.
A total of 3,015 votes were cast, while 41 votes were mutually cancelled by polling agents and representatives.
After a close contest, Dr Ali Razaque emerged as the top candidate with 1,923 votes, followed by Salman Siddique (1,788 votes) and Wajid Aziz Khan (1,751 votes).
The following 12 candidates secured the highest number of votes and were declared successful:

The remaining 15 candidates could not secure a position in the leadership. Tahir Raza Naqvi (1,180 votes) and Syed Abid Hussain (1,169 votes) were among the highest-ranked unsuccessful candidates, while Syed Ameer Ali received the lowest number of votes (123).
