Punjabi Singer Reportedly Killed by Indian-Origin Gang in Canada

A notorious Indian-origin gang based in Canada has claimed responsibility for the murder of popular Punjabi singer Teji Kahlon, who was reportedly shot dead earlier this week.

In a video posted on social media, members of the Rohit Godara gang openly admitted to carrying out the killing. The gangsters — identified as Vicky Pehlwan, Mahinder Saran, and Rahul Rinao — appeared in the footage, asserting that they targeted the singer deliberately.

The trio also issued a warning, stating, “If he understood the message, good — otherwise, next time we’ll finish him too.” Their remarks hinted that others might also be on their hit list.

The gang further challenged those supporting rival factions, including businessmen, real estate developers, and financiers, warning that neither they nor their families would be spared.

According to media reports, the murder was allegedly motivated by suspicions that Teji Kahlon had been providing financial and logistical support to rival gangs and sharing sensitive information against the Rohit Godara network.

The shocking development has reignited debate over the growing nexus between Punjabi music circles and organized crime, raising concerns about the infiltration of illegal networks within the entertainment industry on an international scale.
