LAHORE(A1TV NEWS)A video of Pakistani religious figure Mufti Abdul Qavi has gone viral on social media after he made surprising remarks about Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai.
In the clip, Mufti Qavi claims that tensions are reportedly rising between Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachchan.
He further said that if their relationship ends, “Aishwarya Rai will send me a marriage proposal within two to four months.
”When the host questioned how he could marry a non-Muslim woman, Mufti Qavi referred to the example of Indian actress Rakhi Sawant, saying that after converting to Islam her name became Fatima.
He added that he would first convert Aishwarya Rai to Islam and rename her Ayesha Rai.
It is noteworthy that Mufti Qavi had previously expressed interest in marrying Rakhi Sawant as well. At that time, Rakhi responded humorously, saying that “Mufti Qavi is not easy to handle and is very different.”
