Ibrahim Zadran set many records in this match, he became the first Afghan batsman to score a century in the ICC Champions Trophy, he is also the first batsman to score a century for Afghanistan in the World Cup.
Ibrahim Zadran is also the highest individual innings scorer for Afghanistan in ODI cricket, scoring 177 runs, breaking his own record of 162 runs.

Ibrahim Zadran also became the highest scorer in an innings in the Champions Trophy with 177 runs, which was previously held by English batsman Ben Duckett who scored 166 runs against Australia in the same event last week.
Ibrahim Zadran has overtaken legendary Indian batsman Kapil Dev to become the second highest scorer in ICC ODI events. Kapil Dev’s innings of 175 runs in the 1983 World Cup is topped by Sarvogangoli who scored 183 runs against Sri Lanka in the 1999 World Cup.
