Raiwind (A1tv News) A tragic incident occurred in Raiwind where two real brothers were brutally killed following a dispute over just Rs30 with fruit vendors.
According to police, 22-year-old Wajid and his 25-year-old brother Rashid, residents of Ratti Pindi village, had purchased fruit from a street vendor when an argument broke out over Rs30.
The fruit sellers, identified as Taimoor and Owais, along with five unidentified accomplices, allegedly attacked the brothers with sticks. Wajid died on the spot due to severe head injuries, while Rashid was rushed to Lahore General Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his wounds.
Police confirmed that the case has been registered at Raiwind City Police Station on the complaint of the victims’ father. The prime suspect, Taimoor, has been arrested, while raids are underway to apprehend Owais and others involved.
Eyewitnesses reported that instead of intervening, bystanders filmed the assault on their mobile phones — a disturbing detail that adds to the horror of the incident.
