Man neck-deep in corruption levels allegations at others: Nawaz Sharif

LONDON (a1tv News)Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday “a man who is corrupt from head to toe is levelling allegations of corrupt practices at others.”

The former prime minister claimed that a conspiracy was hatched to defame the political leaders of Pakistan and urged the people to ponder over deeds and corruption of the PTI leaders. Mr Sharif, while claiming that more evidence against Imran Khan in the Billion Tree project and Al-Qadir Trust case would surface, said corruption of more than Rs50 billion was committed in these projects while the poor masses were struggling to even get minimum wage of Rs20,000.

Mr Sharif asked Imran Khan, Shahzad Akbar and other party leaders to hand their head in shame for demonising the political personalities of the country.

A day earlier, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said the PML-N had begun preparations to “welcome” former premier Nawaz Sharif, in the hope that return would tip the results in the party’s favour if an election were to be held in Punjab.

Mr Sharif has been living in London since November 2019 after he was allowed to leave the country for medical treatment.
